Bounty
A season-long college football pool. Draft one team from each of ten odds-based tiers, and every game carries a points bounty set by that week's betting lines. Win the game, collect the bounty. Live for the 2026 season.
The World Cup pool proved the tier-draft format over five weeks, so the question was whether it could hold up across a whole college football season. Bounty is the answer. Everyone drafts ten teams, one from each tier, with tiers priced off the futures and win-total markets. Then every game on the schedule gets a bounty of 2 to 8 points from that week's Vegas lines, so beating a favorite pays far more than beating a doormat. Bonuses for banking a lead and doubled bounties in the postseason keep the back of the roster worth watching in November.
Nothing is hand-adjusted. The tier board was generated from the betting markets the morning the draft opened and hasn't changed since. The weekly bounty board freezes on its own every Thursday night, standings post the night games finish, a daily job recomputes the whole season and flags any drift, and a digest lands in inboxes Sunday and Thursday. Every rule was tuned by replaying the full 2025 season first, and that replay now doubles as the scoring engine's regression suite.
Roughly 70 percent of the code was carried over from the World Cup pool. Proposal to launch took just over three weeks, built end to end with Claude Code. Entry is $100, payouts go out monthly, and the organizer never profits.
